SOA Watch is an independent organization that seeks to close the U.S. Army School of the Americas, under whatever name it is called, through vigils and fasts, demonstrations and nonviolent protest, as well as media and legislative work. Founded by Maryknoll priest Fr. Roy Bourgeois in 1990, there are currently five full-time SOA Watch staff members. Fr. Roy runs an office in Columbus, Georgia, and the rest of the staff are based in Washington, DC.

e-fagia is a Toronto-based collective of artists and writers created in 2004. We have created a website through which we are developing and publishing art and digital image theory and web art projects. The complete website project involves more than 50 people such as media and new media artists, curators and writers. The name of the collective, e-fagia, stems from the word "phagia" which means "to eat", or consume ideas in order to transform them.

In the process of this effort we seek to take the “who made that!?” and “how much does it cost!?” out of our creative endeavors, by anonomously functioning as word-to-image translators of the information we convey. We build, and disseminate these visual tools with the hope that they will self-replicate, and take on life of their own.
